Why Toronto?

We have no idea why Fargo is the new Toronto. Toronto has always had a special mystique in our hearts, for a long period of time it seemed any cool story we read was always happening in Toronto. Recently when a friend mentioned a Bosnian indie film crew was going to shoot a movie in Fargo I blurted out “Fargo is the new Toronto”, possibly confusing Toronto with Vancouver where I think a lot of films are shot for budgetary reasons.

But who knows, maybe lots of films are shot in Toronto too.

The important thing to remember is that Fargo isn’t as bad as you think it is. Is it bad, sure. Could you live somewhere more exciting, definitely. But face it, you’re stuck here for one reason or another so why don’t we all lend a helping hand to each other and make Fargo the new Toronto.

If you don’t do it, nobody else will.
